THE GATES RESTAURANT
We start our culinary journey in the land down under at the Leogate Estate’s fine dining restaurant, The Gates. A perfect place for food and wine inspiration. The restaurant has both an a la carte offering as well as a premium degustation menu expertly curated with Leogate Estate Award-Winning wines to match each course. Talk about a perfect pairing! The beautiful views are perfect for an alfresco lunch while the sophisticated dining room makes for an intimate and romantic dinner for two. Their mouth-watering dry-aged steaks are highly recommended and the restaurant should definitely be on your list to visit when you find yourself in New South Wales.
At Karibu restaurant in Cape Town, the African Ruggedness meets a luxurious setting and invites you to experience a true taste of South Africa. The beautiful and Iconic Table Mountain, the blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the vibrant flavours of South Africa will make you pull up a chair! Traditional South African dishes and local favourites include bobotie, potjiekos, game, snoekbraai, putu and chakalaka. Koeksisters are a must-try for any sweet tooth and are also found on the menu. A selection of the Cape’s finest wines including a selection of Rare vintage wines from 1979 to 1995 will round out your meal. In true South African style your prime-cut meat, fish and poultry are grilled over the coals of an open fire in front of your eyes.

MARÉ AT PINE CLIFFS
Sand in your toes, a light ocean breeze through your hair and the smell of freshly-caught seafood being prepared to perfection. Yes, please! Set on the stunning Falésia Beach against a backdrop of azure waters and red ore cliffs, dishes you can enjoy include Algarvian gazpacho, octopus salad and grilled seabass. A seafood lover’s dream. South America hosts our next spot on our culinary journey where the menu changes regularly to showcase seasonal products. If you are looking for a unique and innovative dinner experience that highlights the tasting notes of the freshest local ingredients, this is the spot for you. This dinner-only robata grill concept draws its influence from Japanese, Chinese, Thai, French and Peruvian cuisines. We would recommend making a reservation if you want to stop by though.
Last, but certainly not least, our list would not be complete without mentioning the LUXE Global 2022 Restaurant of the Year. Dobrograd restaurant is part of a large country resort Dobrograd. Located in the landscape park of the resort, the restaurant blends naturally with the scenery as huge panoramic windows offer an impressive view of the pine forest and the river. A cosy family restaurant that includes a kids’ playroom. Guests can enjoy the main hall with a large interior fireplace, a glazed veranda and a summer outdoor terrace. The menu offers European cuisine dishes, an extensive grill menu and signature desserts with a special emphasis on local products, artisan cheeses, homemade meat delicacies and pickles.
