Rio Carnival

Sambadrome Extravaganza:

The crown jewel of Rio Carnival is undoubtedly the Sambadrome, a colossal structure that hosts the grand Samba Parade. From February 9th to February 17th, 2024, the Sambadrome will be the epicentre of the festivities, showcasing the unparalleled talent of renowned samba schools such as Mangueira, Beija-Flor, and Salgueiro.

Legendary Rio Carnival Ball:

On February 10th it’s time for the most luxurious occasion at the Carnival - the exclusive Magic Ball at the Copacabana Palace. The legendary Rio Carnival Ball is a glamorous affair where elegance meets the rhythm of samba. You will need to adhere to a strict dress code when attending, as flip-flops, shorts, jeans, or a tank top are not permitted. Men are required to dress formally, opting for a suit and black tie, while women have the option to don a gala dress. Yet, for a complete immersion in the evening's ambiance, choosing a luxury costume is highly recommended. These imaginative and fanciful outfits contribute to the vibrant Carnival atmosphere, creating a dazzling spectacle.
