FOR THE SINGLE SOUL SEARCHERS

FOR THE SINGLE SOUL SEARCHERS

If your romantic status reads “single” come February 14th and you manage to find yourself in the city of lights and love, put down the ice cream turn off Netflix and don an outfit ready for the streets. If this is your time to discover and build a loving relationship with yourself rather than searching for “the one”, we applaud you and the beautiful Paris will embrace you. You can spend a beautiful Parisian day by yourself and enjoy every moment of it (an introvert somewhere is elated by that statement). With numerous charming cafes to choose from, why not get dressed up and spend your morning or afternoon relaxing, reading or people-watching in one of them? You won't have to go far for the smell of freshly baked croissants and baguettes and that alone will have us hitting the streets even if it is still on the colder side. Get entranced in a book while sipping on a delicious French wine (or coffee if you like) and simply enjoy the atmosphere and your surroundings.

FOR THE BFF'S

FOR THE BFF'S

Firstly, as stated in the previous section, you can have an amazing, memorable and special Valentine's Day without a romantic partner. Grab your BFF and enjoy every minute of the day by going shopping together or experience the taste of local wine, champagne and cheese. Shopping In the worlds fashion capital is the ideal way to shop a day away with numerous shopping streets to explore, your wardrobe will thank you. Alternatively, or additionally if you prefer, you can expand your knowledge of French wines, champagne and cheese by attending a tasting or pairing. You can attend an afternoon tasting that lasts about 2 hours or make a whole day of it and plan a day trip to a few Champagne houses or wineries.

If you are not scared off by the February chill and would like to explore some of the gardens in Paris, you can always grab a cup of coffee or hot chocolate and make your way to Jardin du Palais Royal. Stroll through the gardens sipping hot chocolate to keep warm or enjoy them on one of the benches. Enjoy each other's company and catch up on all the things that has happened in life if you haven't been able to spend a lot of time together. Season 1, episode 1 of Emily in Paris definitely highlights this beautiful garden.

Just note that events mentioned for BFF's can also be very fun for couples. Just make the most of it no matter who you are with and be sure to enjoy yourself!

FOR THE LOVERS

FOR THE LOVERS

To experience the day of love, in the city of lights, with your special someone makes for a memorable experience. For those who love learning new things / baking together, why not take a class and bake your own macarons? During the class you will learn to prepare the macaron halves and filling and you take home what you made.

Experience the city from a different perspective and end your day with a romantic evening cruise with dinner on the river Seine. See the iconic highlights of Paris lit up with lights, the Eiffel Tower, the Notre Dame, and the Louvre, viewed from a different perspective while enjoying a three-course meal with your loved one. You are bound to be even more in love after an experience like this.
