This week, we sat down with Bruna Aleksic's, the Event Manager of The Chedi Luštica Bay, Montenegro, to hear more about the happenings at this magnificent hotel and the proud location of the annual LUXE Global Annual Awards Gala.

1. First thing we need to ask, how is the planning for the Annual LUXE Global Awards Gala going?

It has been a fun ride and it is still on the way. The program is mostly done, and we are now just working on the final details that will make your evening special with us.

2. Could you tell us more about the excitement of playing host to this prestigious event?

First of all it is an honor! To be chosen to host an event like this is a big thing not only for The Chedi Luštica Bay but for Montenegro as well. We will have the opportunity to host some of the most prominent leaders in our industry and we are very proud to have a team that is up to this challenge.

3. In your experience, what are the most important aspects to curate a successful Gala Evening?

Good atmosphere! If this is all going in the right direction, then food is something that all the guests will remember and talk about. Decoration is always a good little perk but does not play the main part in the end. If everyone is impressed by what they get served at the table more than half of the job is done. And in the end, it is all about the little details that only exceptional service can take care of.

4. Could you give us some secret insights into the menu for the evening?

Fun, inspiring, with lots of local tastes and ingredients and an exceptional experience itself.

5. As an astute destination in Montenegro, what does it take to motivate the team to keep such impeccable standards?

We are very lucky with our team, and we appreciate all the members personally with the contribution they provide to us. I personally believe that when our staff is appreciated, they will have the same appreciation to each and every guest hence provide the service which is expected, and not seldomly a little bit more than that.

6. How does it feel to be hosting the inaugural LUXE Global Awards Gala?

Definitely an honor, and it gives us a lot of pride. Being the first in anything means setting the standards, and we love the challenge to set the standards high!

7. What are you most looking forward to on the night of the event?

The crowd, the people from the industry enjoying our property. The food as always that our Executive Chef Željko Knezović and his team are delivering and serving. Something new that will be happening in our hotel and destination.

We have the aim to always create a new experience for our guests and I am sure this one will be one of a kind too!
